Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies
When you visit the Site, we use "cookies." A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your computer or mobile device when you visit the site. It allows the website to remember your activities and preferences (such as login, language, font size and other display preferences). Cookies do not typically contain any information that personally identifies a user but, Personal Information that we may store about you, may be linked to the information stored in and obtained from cookies.
Cookies may be either "persistent" cookies or "session" cookies: a persistent cookie will be stored by a web browser and will remain valid until it reaches its expiry date, or it is deleted by the user before the expiry date; a session cookie, instead, will expire at the end of the user session, when the web browser is closed.
You can control and/or delete cookies as you wish — for details, see aboutcookies.org. You can delete all cookies that are already on your computer and you can set most browsers to prevent them from being placed. If you do this, however, you may have to manually adjust some preferences every time you visit a site and some services and functionalities may not work.
If you disable your web browser's ability to accept cookies, you will be able to browse the Site, but will not be able to access or take advantage of all the features and services on the Site.
Website Forms and Cloudflare Turnstile
To protect the contact and opt-out forms on the Site against spam and automated abuse, we use Cloudflare Turnstile, provided by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA ("Cloudflare"). When you reach a form, your browser loads the Turnstile widget from Cloudflare, which processes technical signals such as your IP address, TLS fingerprint, user-agent header and the address of the page, solely to tell whether the form is being submitted by a person or by a bot. To complete the check, Cloudflare may store strictly necessary cookies (such as cf_chl_rc_i, cf_chl_rc_ni and cf_chl_rc_m) and similar data in your browser under its own domain; Turnstile sets no cookies under the Site's domain. Cloudflare processes these signals on our behalf as our processor. It also processes them as an independent controller to improve its bot detection, as described in the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Notice. We rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the Site and its forms secure. This processing is strictly necessary to submit a form, so it does not depend on your cookie consent; if Turnstile cannot run in your browser, the form cannot be submitted, and you can contact us by email at data@nordicdataresources.com instead. Cloudflare may process this data in the United States; where required, such transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Website Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"), to understand how visitors use the Site, for example which pages are visited, how long visits last and which website referred you to us. Google Analytics runs in Google Consent Mode. Until you accept Analytics cookies in our cookie banner, analytics storage is denied: Google Analytics sets no cookies and sends Google only cookieless signals without identifiers (for example, that a page was viewed, together with technical information about your browser), which Google uses in aggregated form; we rely on our legitimate interest in basic measurement of the use of the Site. If you accept Analytics cookies, Google Analytics sets the cookies _ga and _ga_V2X7YHP1FJ, which expire after 2 years, and collects information such as the pages you visit, the time of your visit, the referring page, your browser and device type, and your approximate location; the legal basis for this processing is your consent. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalisation stay denied unless you also accept Marketing cookies in the cookie banner; the legal basis for that processing is likewise your consent. Google processes this data on our behalf as our processor. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer of the Site; the cookies concerned are then no longer used. Google may transfer data to Google LLC in the United States; such transfers are covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, under which Google LLC is certified, and by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. For more information, see the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
